What's Going On With Pokémon 30th Celebration Prices? Raw Cards Crash, PSA 10s Sell for 20×
· 13:18 ET · UpdatedShare
The short version: four weeks after the Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration set launched on September 16, 2026, its raw singles sell for 44–96% less than their first sales. Graded cards tell a different story: the first PSA 10s sold from September 29 for 11 to 26 times the raw price. Those PSA 10 prices are now falling too as more graded copies reach the market. Prices below are in USD, from eBay sales tracked by Card Ladder, TCGplayer market data, and reporting by Kotaku and Sports Illustrated.

The exception is the RGB Mew: the first known sale was $20,000, and on October 9 the three color versions were valued at $6,000, $3,739 and $1,703 raw.

Two things stand out. A PSA 10 sells for roughly 11 to 26 times the raw card. And most PSA 10s now sell 16–66% below their first sales, because graded copies keep coming back from the first grading submissions. Mewtwo ex Futuristic Rare and Classic Collection Charizard are the exceptions so far: their PSA 10s are holding steady.
Why raw prices are falling
- Collector-friendly pull rates. Tracking of 6,500 packs puts Special Illustration Rares at about 1 in 20 packs and Illustration Rares at 1 in 5. Top full arts in recent sets were closer to 1 in 100.
- A very large print run. Kotaku reports it as the largest print of any Pokémon set so far, with printing continuing for months.
- More products still coming. Booster Bundles and Mini Tins arrived October 2, Battle Decks follow October 30 and the Ultra-Premium Collections November 6.
Sealed is not falling

MSRP $49.99 USD

MSRP $59.99 USD

MSRP $26.94 USD
There is no English booster box for 30th Celebration. Packs are only sold inside products, so the Booster Bundle (6 packs) is the closest equivalent.
| Product | MSRP | TCGplayer, Oct 9 |
|---|---|---|
| Elite Trainer Box | $49.99 | $133.04 |
| Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box | $59.99 | $283.82 |
| Booster Bundle | $26.94 | $73.86 |
| Ultra-Premium Collection (Night) | $179.99 | $700.71 |
Pack prices stay high because people still want to open them. The value inside each pack is what keeps dropping.
What it means if you grade
- The graded premium is real, for 10s. The gap between a raw copy and a PSA 10 is far wider than the drop in raw prices. That premium only applies to cards that come back as 10s.
- The first PSA 10s sold at the top. Prices for most of the set's PSA 10s are lower every week as more graded copies come back. Sports Illustrated expects raw prices to keep falling before they recover, once printing slows.
- Pick your submissions. Raw chase cards are cheap now, so the grading fee is a big share of the cost. Check centering, edges and surfaces under light before you send a card in, and grade the ones with a real shot at a 10.
- It is still the anniversary year. Pokémon turned 30 on February 27, 2026. High-grade copies from the anniversary set are the ones collectors will want to display.
